TrailsGiving Week 2022
Thankful for Trails. Thankful for You.
Thanks to your support this year, the Trail Conference community has remained as productive as ever. This year alone, your impact enabled us to station our Conservation Corps Trail Stewards at the most popular trailheads in the region, where they educated more than 22,000 trail users about safe and responsible outdoor recreation. With your financial support, we recruited and trained volunteers who completed major lean-to restoration projects throughout the Catskill Mountains. Your gifts helped put boots on the ground to manage nearly 80,000 terrestrial invasive species by our Terrestrial Invasive Strike Force crew.
It's only through your gifts—your gifts of time, funding, and other support—that we can continue this work in 2023.
For one week, we’re asking the trail community to step up and share with the world just how important great trails and a healthy ecosystem are to you. Inspired by Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, we’re declaring November 22 through November 29 #TrailsGiving Week, and we need your support.
The Trail Conference needs to raise $350,000 to meet our 2022 budget and ensure financial stability so we can continue our work heading into the new year. Can you help us by making a gift?
During #Trailsgiving Week, every dollar you donate is matched by the Trail Conference Board of Directors. That means your gift of $50 to support our work on trails and in parks becomes $100 and goes twice as far. Please donate today!
This week, let's show our trail builders, maintainers, and protectors our thanks by giving back.
Here are four ways you can get involved and give back to trails this holiday season:
- Make a donation: Make a gift to the Trail Conference by Tuesday, November 29 and your donation will be doubled!
- Start a fundraiser for the Trail Conference on your Facebook and/or Instagram accounts.
- Get social! Say thanks to our volunteers by liking, commenting, and sharing our #TrailsGiving Week content on social media.
- Treat yourself, and your loved ones, to a gift from our Trail Store. Proceeds directly support our work on trails and in parks.
