Invasives Strike Force Crew - Invasives Removal

Registration is closed for this event
Do you enjoy birds, butterflies, and wildflowers? Would you like to help protect them? Come help us remove invasive plants from this beautiful park!

Two volunters pulling mile-a-minute in the forest

Join the Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force as we remove invasive plants at High Point State Park. Anyone can participate. No experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.

We will be hiking about a mile on a mostly level, shaded woodland trail and removing multiflora rose and barberry.

Volunteers will need to wear a long-sleeved shirt and long pants and bring: work gloves for handling thorns, water, sunscreen, bug spray, and lunch. We provide the tools.

Exact meeting place and more details will be provided upon sign-up.

Please sign-up in advance so that we know how many people are coming and can let you know of any changes of plans.

For volunteers under age 18, please submit a Guardian Consent form to [email protected] prior to the volunteer day or bring the paper form the day of. A parent or guardian must be present for the volunteer day.
