Do you enjoy birds, butterflies, and wildflowers? Would you like to help protect them? Come help us remove invasive plants from this beautiful park!

ISF Crew with Invasive Plants

Join the Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force as we remove Scotch broom and other invasive plants in Harriman State Park. This workday is being held in honor of Werner Mueller, a dedicated and talented Invasives Strike Force volunteer and trail maintainer. Werner sadly passed away this past spring and we continue to channel, cherish and be inspired by his positive spirit and enthusiasm for protecting our region's natural areas.

Anyone can participate. No experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training. You will need to bring leather work gloves, plenty of water and a lunch you can eat on the trails. We provide the tools.

Exact meeting place and more details will be provided upon sign-up.

Please sign-up in advance so that we know how many people are coming and can let you know of any changes of plans.

For volunteers under age 18, please submit a Guardian Consent form to [email protected] prior to the volunteer day or bring the paper form the day of. A parent or guardian must be present for the volunteer day.
