Title

Flooding continues to impact New Jersey's trails

Body

The recent rainfall from Tropical Storm Lee and Hurricane Irene continues to affect the region’s trail system.   Some facilities have yet to re-open in the wake of Irene and some that had re-opened have closed again.

The NY-NJ Trail Conference reports that in Stokes State Forest the Tillman Ravine and Stony Lake areas are closed, as well as Crigger, Grau, and Sunrise Mtn. Rds.  They also note that Clinton Road, which provides access to many of the trails on NWCDC lands and in Wawayanda State Park, is closed due to a washed out bridge
