Valley Cottage woman found dead in park was experienced hiker, animal lover

The Trail Conference mourns the death of member and volunteer Colleen Murphy.

Colleen, an experienced hiker and a maintainer on the Seven Hills Trail in Harriman State Park, was hiking with her dog at Rockland Lake State Park last weekend. Both were found dead Tuesday at the bottom of a steep cliff.
